On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the boutiques, shops, galleries, and salons of the 1600 block of Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. – more notably known as the as the Book Hill neighborhood of Georgetown - celebrate fall with music, wine and champagne tastings, food, and sidewalk and in-store promotions.

The boutique district of Georgetown hosted its annual French Market earlier this spring, and returns with a Fall Fête where storefronts, including the stylish boutiques Urban Chic, Sassanova, Sugar, and Sherman Pickey (pictured above), and antique and home décor shops A Mano, Sixteen Fifty Nine, David Bell Antiques, and Rooms with a View, offer fall promotions, live music, and champagne and wine tastings. French patisserie and café, Patisserie Poupon, hosts an outdoor barbeque with grilled merguez, pumpkins, and other fall favorites.

In addition, the neighborhood will be hosting tables to benefit the beloved charitable programs of the late Patsy Guyer, a Georgetown icon, including the Washington Humane Society and a scholarship fund.
