Pete Muller and Jehan Balba want to invite/coerce/beg all of you to come to Marvin Thursday evening to help us raise last minute funds for upcoming work in Africa this fall.

For those of you who don’t already know, we depart for Uganda at the end of the month to document displaced communities in the northern region of the country. Over the course of five months, we’ll generate extensive photographic and written documentation on enduring legacy of Uganda’s internal conflict and the reunion of fighters and victims in common communities.

While the trip is made possible through grants from generous individuals and organizations, there are still some outstanding costs.

Marvin generously agreed to host a profit-sharing night this Thursday, 28 August to help cover expenses for this project. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come out to eat and guzzle drinks with us as a way of supporting this great project. The money you spend will help make this work possible!
