This buttery piece of joy for $2.75 is sure to delight kids and adults alike, eagerly awaiting another Irish import.
Cones for Cod
Maybe it is bribery...but when your 8 year-old confidently looks up and announces, "I'll have the Baramundi please" it makes it worthwhile. Recently dining out, Eve, daughter of restaurant couple Cathal and Meshelle Armstrong, asked for the adventurous fish. Her proud parents traced her order back her first fish, Cod. Battered and fried from Eamonn's A Dublin Chipper.
With that realization came the idea of "Cones for Cod!" ALL kids CAN develop their taste buds at such a young age, the trick being to get that first piece of fish down the hatch. An Irish classic, The 99 is a soft serve ice cream served in a mini cone with the "Crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate in the world." It is a cone for eating Cod! Think of it as a gateway fish - a first step down a road of culinary adventure. Everyone has to start somewhere, and free ice cream makes Eamonn's the perfect place to start.
