PS 7's is one of my absolute favorite spots in DC with great food, a very relaxing atmosphere, wonderful al fresco dining and perfect service. Peter is one of the most talented chefs in DC and his genius behind PS7's culinary creations, mixology and top-notch kitchen is hard to beat. And their pastry chef, Naomi is a star! She was recognized last year as one of the best pastry chefs in the RAMMY's. Open for almost two years now it no surprise that they are teaming up with other culinary powerhouses for a benefit.

Thanks to The List Are You On It in my Everyday Reads for the skinny.Cathal Armstrong, Chef/Co-Owner, Restaurant Eve, Heather Chittum, Pastry Chef, Hook Restaurant, Kevin Reading, Chef/Co-Owner of Nage Restaurant, Peter Smith, Chef/Owner of PS 7's Restaurant will prepare one course in which the dish represents his/her favorite childhood food.

The chefs will join diners to discuss the dish and how cooking at home at a young age influenced their culinary careers. Guests at the Kitchen Memories Dinner will receive a copy of the cookbook "Kitchen Memories" by Slow Food DC Co-Leader Alexandra Greeley and Co-Author Anne Parsons, along with a recipe card of the chef's dishes for use at home. 6:30 pm reception, 7:00pm dinner. $75 per person. 777 I Street NW.
