Hanging around the backyard barbeque pit taking in the aromas wafting through the air can be heaven on earth in the summer time. Sometimes, however, the fact that the apartment or condo...or even home may not have a back yard may be a problem. Or perhaps the thought of preparing and cleaning the grill may be a little daunting. Then there’s that pesky shopping and food prep issue. Not anymore.

If the thought of freshly prepared to order barbeque is looming large and the price of gas perhaps has curtailed weekend travel plans, venture over to dupontgrille for Chef Dylyn Coolidge’s Friday night patiogrille—an outdoor barbeque that includes a variety of dishes cooked to order. Each and every Friday night through August, dupontgrille will be barbequing from 5 p.m. on through the evening.

Choose from swordfish with artichoke and caper relish; Ahi tuna with mango and white corn salsa; sirloin steak with sautéed peppers and onions; half a chicken with raspberry and chipotle barbeque sauce and baby back ribs-cooked to perfection and kicked up with ‘Jack and Coke’ barbeque sauce. Main courses are priced at $10 each. Sides such as red potato salad with butter pickles and whole grain mustard; tomato, fennel and cucumber salad, zippy hot and sour cole slaw and pasta salad with garbanzo beans, grape tomatoes and feta cheese are also available at $5 each.

From 5-7 p.m., select Martinis and glasses of wine and other snacks will be $5 each, as always, during dupontgrille’s ‘Five for Five’ Happy Hour. Put all that on the barbie and smoke it.
