Breakfast with Tiffany

The social scene in DC is teeming with fun and fabulous faces. There are many people whose name alone conjures up images of cocktail dresses and sexy
soirées. The question lingers of how well we really know or understand those familiar faces. Armed with Marcel Proust’s famous questionnaire while enjoying brunch at a local eatery and with mimosa in hand, I will dig a little deeper into the lives and thoughts of DC’s movers and shakers…Thus begins, Breakfast with Tiffany.

The Flanuering Philippa Hughes at Matisse.

Hooo is this grrrl?? Philippa Hughes is the founder of the PinkLine Project a local organization that “fosters intellectual and artistic innovation through programs and events” here in the District. This saucy, quick-witted, and extraordinarily thoughtful lady spends her time collecting art, hosting events, and educating the rest of us about the value of collecting and the importance of art in our lives. Hoogrrl.com, her blog, was voted THE BEST BLOG of 2007 by DC Modern Luxury.
