Pyramid Atlantic will open its art gallery on April 25 – 27 to singles, wine lovers, collectors and everybody else for a free weekend of contemporary art and entertainment. Local and professional artists from locations as far-flung as Greece, the Czech Republic and Japan will sell limited edition prints and finely crafted artist books to raise funds for local kids and young adults. There will also be a raffle for two artists books, including Five Rooms by Robin Tewes. Prints will be discounted for current Pyramid members. Don't worry you can always become a member at the event if you aren't one now.

“We want to grow appreciation, enthusiasm and art collectors through this event. But most importantly, we want to support the valuable work of our outreach programs,” says Pyramid’s executive director, Jose Dominguez.

All the art was created at the Silver Spring studio by professional artists. Proceeds from the sale will fund Pyramid’s outreach programs which last year provided art activities at its Silver Spring studios, 12 schools, five community organizations and five local universities.
