Thanks to Washington Flyer for the skinny. The high-tech, interactive new Newseum (555 Pennsylvania Ave., NW; 888/639-7368; www.newseum.org) opens this weekend along Pennsylvania Avenue. Check out amazing views of the Capitol from the sixth-floor patio, then head inside and immerse yourself in the world of journalism, where you'll find more than 80 front pages from around the world, a section of the Berlin Wall and a TV studio where you can practice your reporting skills. Then head to Wolfgang Puck's The Source restaurant, located in the museum, for a taste of his modern Asian-inspired creations. Tickets to the Newseum are $20 for adults.
