The Arts Expo was founded by Fine Artist Lisa Jones, a dedicated community activist committed to enhancing artists’ careers by providing opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitions. Ms. Jones’ vision of producing the Washington DC International Arts Expo was to provide a significant venue for artists to be introduced to and recognized by the general public and the local art world.
Last year’s event featured some of the country’s most celebrated artists including Frank Frazier, the estate of William Tolliver, Floyd Gordon, Shannon Elkins and Larry Poncho Brown. Ms. Jones is joined in her efforts by Collective Vision partners Pauline Garcia and spokesman Kris Jenkins, New York Jet’s defensive tackle and Washington, DC community activist.
