Thursday Countdown: Book your Valentine's Day Dinners ASAP!

Thanks to The List: Are You On It there is a complete list of Valentine's day dinner offered at DC restaurants across the city. I suggest you and yours venture to:

  • Acadiana will feature a table d’hôte menu (price of entrée includes amuse bouche, choice of appetizer, choice of dessert). The cost is $50-$77 per person. Seatings will take place from 5:30-10:30pm. 901 New York Avenue, NW; 202.408.8848)
  • Rasika’s Chef Vikram Sunderam will offer a four-course tasting menu for $75 per person with the option of a wine pairing for $45 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Rasika will set the stage for a romantic feast with its seductive, rich décor. (633 D Street, N.W.; 202.637.1222)
  • Rising Culinary Star Chef Katsuya Fukushima of Café Atlántico will be offering this indulgent seven-course menu to its Valentine’s Day diners at $85.00 per person (tax and gratuity not included). (405 8th Street, N.W.; 202.393.0812)
  • Tender Passion at Cafe Milano on Valentine’s Day is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. (3251 Prospect Street, NW, Georgetown; 202.333.6183)
  • Valentine’s Day Gala at the Embassy of Italy Hosted by Land Rover America’s Polo Cup -- Washingtonians are invited to enjoy a four-course, gourmet Italian menu, open wine bar, surprise performances, and a night of dancing to an orchestra. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Journey for the Cure Foundation providing research grant to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.   • Locanda Offers Special Valentine’s Day Dining Experience -- Welcoming neighbors to dine, Locanda provides a celebratory glass of Proseco to begin the pre-fix four course dinner.   • At Morrison-Clark Historic Inn & Restaurant guests will enjoy a three-course meal created by Chef Janis McLean, followed by a “Ménage a Trois,” a special dessert trio, to be savored in the comfort of a private Victorian Suite. Guests will also discover bath and body potion amenities upon entering their room. The overnight package is priced at $450 per couple those wishing to enjoy appetizers with cocktails and dinner only the cost is $85 per person.   • Celebrate Valentine's Day at OYA Restaurant and Lounge with a special five-course tasting menu. OYA’s five-course menu is priced at $95 per person with an additional $30 for the wine pairing. (777 9th Street, NW; 202.393.1400)
  • You are invited to experience a Valentine’s Delight, February 14 – 16, in Palette as Chef Stefan Jarausch prepares a romantic three-course dinner sure to impress your sweetheart.   • Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Poste Moderne Brasserie -- Poste Moderne Brasserie will be serving its regular Winter menu and offering a special tasting menu priced at $75—at the guest’s option, the menu can be paired with organic or biodynamic wines 5-10 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.   • Valentine’s Day at PS7 -- Join Chef Peter Smith for a especially romantic day. All items are available a la carte or you may customize your own tasting menu. To celebrate Valentine’s Day they will be offering a 4-course tasting menu for $65.00 including a glass of champagne, to start your evening.
