• Valentine’s Day Gala at the Embassy of Italy Hosted by Land Rover America’s Polo Cup -- Washingtonians are invited to enjoy a four-course, gourmet Italian menu, open wine bar, surprise performances, and a night of dancing to an orchestra. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Journey for the Cure Foundation providing research grant to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. • Locanda Offers Special Valentine’s Day Dining Experience -- Welcoming neighbors to dine, Locanda provides a celebratory glass of Proseco to begin the pre-fix four course dinner. This four- course pre-fix menu is $75 per person and $35 for wine pairings. (633 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE; 202.547.0002)
• At Morrison-Clark Historic Inn & Restaurant guests will enjoy a three-course meal created by Chef Janis McLean, followed by a “Ménage a Trois,” a special dessert trio, to be savored in the comfort of a private Victorian Suite. Guests will also discover bath and body potion amenities upon entering their room. The overnight package is priced at $450 per couple those wishing to enjoy appetizers with cocktails and dinner only the cost is $85 per person. • You are invited to experience a Valentine’s Delight, February 14 – 16, in Palette as Chef Stefan Jarausch prepares a romantic three-course dinner sure to impress your sweetheart.
