In the bustling city of Washington, among the quaint quarter of DuPont Circle, along woodsy New Hampshire Avenue, sits the neighborhood’s favorite tree house, Firefly Restaurant. Known for the best hour of the day, Fly By, Go Nuts - the only happy hour with Chef Danny Bortnick’s special nuts, PJ & B - a brunch with a pajama dress code, as well as…well… Firefly’s trademark floor-to-ceiling "firefly tree", hung with lanterns, lit by candles, standing sturdy in the heart of the restaurant, Firefly has refreshed its décor. Of course, the tree still stands firm, but with a fresh coat of paint, refinished floors and new lounge furniture, Firefly’s spark is brighter than ever.
Firefly is open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.; l and Sunday PJ & B brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For reservations call 202-861-1310 or log on to www.firefly-dc.com.
